This is a follow-up on this thread that was unfortunately locked due to people sending it way off-topic.
Details so far:
It is now 5/28, 20 days since they received the defective rack, and they still have not refunded me my ~$170 nor have they provided video evidence that the rack actually installs into another 5th gen.
My credit card company waited 2 weeks after the item was shipped back to see if OrangeBoxx would be honest and issue me a refund. Since they have not, my credit card company has issued a refund. Now I have PayPal (OrangeBoxx uses them to take payments) trying to contact me nonstop to undo my credit card company's chargeback.
Details so far:
- The 5th gen PSD rack OrangeBoxx made for me not only didn't fit right, but it was poorly designed and built.
- I tried to work with the owner to resolve the issue.
- After being insulted a few times by the owner, I asked for a refund. The owner refused to give me a refund.
- I started the thread linked above to share my experience.
- The owner joined the thread and proceeded to provide even more subpar customer service. He claimed that when my defective rack arrived, he would provide video evidence of it installing properly in a different 5th gen.
- I paid $23 to ship the defective rack back to OrangeBoxx on 5/1.
- The rack was received by them on 5/8 (UPS proof of delivery).
