I've learned to embrace it. It's worth it for the 8 months of ****ing incredible weather the rest of the year.
If it makes you feel any better we have been peaking mid 70s this week! I mean we have had horrible flooding, but it is getting down to 60 at night, which is awesome to have the windows open at night in the house. Usually its 90+ degrees with 100% humidity. So although you have hotter temps down there, the humidity here is beyond horrible and makes a 90 degree day feel like 110.
Man, you're depressing me. 60's at night? Sheesh. Only in my dreams, here in the Houston area.
Yuck! I don't see how folks live with that down there or especially Houston. We've been as high as the mid 90s but I work around a large boiler so it's been miserable. I'm in the hottest climate I ever want to live in.
I jumped in the pool a couple of days ago. It was like bath water. I dont know what it is but it seems that this years 110 feels hotter than other years where its been 115. I have yard work I need to do but the sun will just cook you in a mater of minutes.
yes it gets hot here lol... we just took a trip one hour north to payson, 90 degrees,, hiked a creek to beautiful water wheel, and went swimming in ice cold water.. so refreshing compared to the heat.
