Now there is about 3 inches on the ground. It is really coming down. I got to experiment with the Revo's and they are AMAZING! I was not used to looking down at my dashboard and seeing the traction light off. I couldn't even make the ABS go on! So, how is it rollin around in the Buick Century? It sounds like you actually got a good deal if you are only allowed an economy car. Don't feel bad because I remember we once had a Grand Marquis rental. I felt 50 years older getting out of it!

Well you guys better get a lot of snow, because I want my wife to state that the tires SUX. That way I have an excuse to buy Revos
The tires do suck!
My 1990 2nd gen had Yokohama Geolangers for $90/ea and they were way better. I almost regretting selling my 2ng gen. I'm upgrading as soon as possible. I was slipping and sliding all over. I actually felt worried while driving on 280.
So what's the best deal for the revos?

RaysMD - How many miles do you have on your Dunlops? I have about 4600 miles now and they did fine in the snowstorm when the roads were like packed powder. I had no problems starting or stopping at all (unless I was doing something stupid on purpose
). I've found out that the Dunlops are good up to 10k-15k miles. Then they go badly.
Costco will install Revos for $149 in 265/70-17 size. They told me that there will be a deal in March sometime for the $60 off a set.

Save your money. Wait until you have at least 10k miles on them. They're not as bad as all the hype you're hearing on this board.
My plan is to wait until I get 10k miles or Sept comes along to get new tires. Of course this is my "plan." I'll probably end up getting new tires before the 4runner Jamboree this summer.
