2018 TRD Off Road
Located in Panhandle Florida (Fort Walton Beach) aka Redneck Riviera.
I bought my 4Runner after moving back to the US from Japan where I fell in love with Toyota's. My friends had older SURF Hilux and Land Cruisers that were a lot of fun adventuring offroad in.
I purchased the "Oyota" right before Overland Expo East 2018. For those that were there they rained a lot and the camping/parking areas were turned to mud pits. I was impressed how easily the vehicle drove off with no issues in the mud. I can't lie if I had some cockiness seeing a lot of highly modified rigs needed a road of Maxtrax and some tow straps to get free (I understand they are heavily weighted down and were sitting for a while slowly sinking over the weekend). That experience instantly validated I made the right choice in buying this vehicle.
Some starter mods on my "Oyota"
