Ivew still got a basic "no start"

Do you solder your 4 gauge wires to the copper connectors? Just crimping will not help to pass high amps.

If your starter turned out to be fine, I would buy a wire set from the junk or if you still have your stock wiring to the starter, use it and see.

:lightsaber: ive never been any good at soldering, so i always crimp my connections. I think i might still have the stock pos. battery cables around somewhere, just gotta look.

Although, not every single connector bwteen my batteries, starter and alternator are copper...but the stock wasnt either

So i took my new starter back out and bench tested it. Works perfect. Engages and rotates like it should. Ok, so my new starter is still new and works. O took it back down to me car and bench tested it there too. Sat it on the fuse box, powered it, groundednit, and applied 12 volts to the trigger and it works again!!!!....so what was my problem? Theres an upper and lower ground on the third gens that i never realized when i re did all my wiring with the 4 guage red stuff. Put a ground just above the oil pan on the drivers side and bolted it to the fram, BINGO!!!!! But im still having a big of problems. I dont think stuff is grounding out. When i turn my signals on, my abs light dims. And the radio cycles on and off. So im not completely done, but she drives again!!!!! Also, just t add, i LOVE not having a sway bar! It flexes when i drive over a pebel lol. But thats everyone for the help. Very appreciated.
