JBA 96-98 Exhaust on a 02

Well, I finally bit the bullet and bought the JBA stainless cat back meant for a 96-98 T4R. To make it work on my 2002, all I had to do was cut a straight 2.5" pipe at 11" long and weld a 2 bolt flange on it, clamp that on as the inlet to the muffler and I was off and running. Even though they advertise the exhaust as 2.25", the muffler still has 2.5" inlets/outlets (hence why I used a 2.5" pipe).

I was hoping it would be quieter than the 2.5" exhaust w/ walker muffler I welded together...It is quieter when you're at 30% of throttle or lower, but when you give it some gas or wind it out, it's pretty loud...I'm sure the headers and blower don't help.

I'll try to snap some pics for reference in case anyone else wants to give this a go.
