JBL 6 disk HU starting to fail. Need Scion HU help!

I know there is a sticky with all the Scion info in it, but for somebody like me who is electronically challenged it all looks like Greek to me.

I have the JBL 6 disk system in my '03. Over the last couple of weeks. It will just randomly change channels, so I figure it is probably starting to die. I was curious about which of these Scion HU's and what I would need to replace mine? I would like to be able to use my iPod with it and still be able to use my steering wheel controls. Ideally I would be able to control my iPod with those controls. I really don't want to get into all the aftermarket stereo stuff, so this seems like the best option. Any help/direction would be appreciated.

Didn't thoroughly go thru the scion sticky, but if you don't like tackling tougher than normal electronic (splicing all sorts of wires to get it to work) jobs, then why not just replace your HU with another one (ebay) and get an ipod adapter for it? Plug and play. I'm not a big fan of who those scion radios look in our 4Runners (looks aftermarkety).

I don't know a whole ton about the scion radios, but make sure you get one that is compatible with the JBL
