I was driving home after a bear hunt tonight with the radio up too keep me awake. Up in the volume level around 45. And a song came on with a bit of bass and all my speakers went out except for the front tweeter in the dash. 03 v8 limited. I’m wondering if I blew a fuse or if my Amp finally went out. I haven’t been able to check fuses yet but will in the morning. My wife has told me when she drove the runner a while back that the speakers went out for a minute and came back one. A couple weeks ago it happened to me too. After about 30 mins it came back on. I’m hoping this is the same issue and they will come back on but I still need to fix the issue causing it. A 4runner with big tires, a roof basket, and the heater blowing creates a lot of noise. And my poor little tweeter can’t keep up lol. Will sure make bear hunts significantly more boring if I don’t have music too keep me occupied.
