JBL Head Unit Replacement

I feel bad because I know this has been covered, but I am just looking to replace the head unit with something that has Bluetooth, and an option to connect a backup camera. I would like to keep all factory options, center channel, amp, sub, and steering wheel controls.

I have read posts about all the additional wiring harnesses needed to do so, which is fine but I am really just looking for a plug and play OEM Toyota/Scion head unit. I have read so many articles relating to this, but I vaguely remember one about a Solora head unit accomplishing this. The Scion pioneer head units would be preferred, but I don’t recall reading anything that will support all 10 speakers.


Please any help, harnesses needed would be very beneficial, a lot of the previous posts contain expired amazon links.

I just recently installed the Sony XAV-AX5000 into my 07 with JBL. I opted for the adapter to retain my JBL sub/amp and steering wheel controlls. It was around $475 on Crutchfield. It sounds and looks great. I only use CarPlay and it connects very quickly. I also got a backup camera from Amazon. I haven't installed the camera yet but it has lots of good reviews.

The main thing I've noticed is the backseat door speakers are louder with the new headunit than with the stock one. Any actual sound quality improvements would be very slight but I'm also not an audiophile. It sounds good though.
