JBL Stereo Radio Capacitor?

Hey All,

I have a 2004 4Runner with the JBL audio system. For the past few weeks I have been having issues with the radio. When I startup the truck the radio has no sound and turning the volume knob does nothing. The radio is on and lit up. After running for a few minutes I will hear a POP through the radio speakers and then all works fine. I have music and the volume works. It seems to take the longest to POP in the morning after the truck has sat overnight. It has progressively been getting worse (longer time to POP). I am not electrical genius but could this be a bad capacitor? If so, is it possible to fix?

sounds like the amp is going.
either rip it out and go all out with aftermarket, or spend more money and time to trace out the part to fix and have another part die.
