Hello everyone I was hoping you would be kind enough to share your knowledge with me. I searched the forums already and can't seem to get a clear cut answer. I have a 2005 4Runner Sport Edition with the factory JBL Synthesis head unit and speakers. One of my speakers in the front passenger door is blown.
I am keeping the factory head unit and all other factory speakers I just want to replace the blown speaker with the simplest of solutions. I really don't want to have to cut or fabricate much as I don't really have access to a lot of the tools required to do so. I would like to do the project myself. Can someone recommend a replacement set of speakers because I am guessing it wont be long before the drivers side goes?
Is there a special type of speaker I will need such as 2ohm or 4ohm? component speaker? 2 way? 3 way? Please mention specific brands and part numbers and how pleased you were with how you they turned out in your 4Runner. Thank you for your help
