I was just in DFW on a business trip and it was a bit of a culture shock on how worried everyone was about the incoming 'Arctic Blast' that was approaching. We departed out of DFW Airport and 95% of the flights were cancelled. Luckily, Air Canada got us out on time. For us Canadians, it's just another normal day. I totally get it though, most vehicles have no winter tires - and I'm assuming no winter survival packs. Not painting everyone with the same brush but I'm sure I'd have more winter driving skills than most as well as far as recovery (high and low speed) goes. It was just... different!
I do love Texas though! So cool that people who are capable were helping others out.
