Chili Contestants:

Please check in with me at some point Friday or Saturday. Judging will begin at 6 at YOUR rig/campsite. Judges will be walking around tasting and scoring. Winner announced by 8, hopefully.

1) Goblue82(TW) is willing to meetup with people Friday Afternoon at Love's Travel Shop in Coachella.

"Meet time is 1600-1700 at Loves truck stop in Coachella, CA. I will be departing promptly at 1700. If you need to air down (yes, you need to air down) show up at 1645. We will be making time so this run is best for the experienced non stock shock personnel. 4wd is suggested but not needed if you have a locker. I would normally say 2wd no locker is fine but we have no time to play around teaching at this hour. No stock/ P rated tires please."

2) 12PM Noon. Gold Crown and the 62. I will be there about 1130, and wheels up at 1230. Please air down as you get there if you're waiting for me.

I'm going to throw this out here because I had some guys express interest. This could very well shape up to be the biggest cross forum meetup ever. The only reason I started it on TW is because it was TW that I planned it on last year while T4R SoCal got slow and non-existant. So technically, this is a TW run.

I'm like 100% maybe on this! Love me some Joshua Tree, plus I make a pretty *****en chili con carne and a chili verde dish - just sayin.
 
Going to be an awesome trip. This year we'll be camping on BLM land somewhere off Gold Crown road near the JT boundary but off the beaten path. I don't have exact coords yet, but we'll be near the Dale Mining area so plenty of places to explore or if you'd rather kick it at camp, shoot, and drink all day, you can do that too. If [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] goes, and he bloody better, I'm sure T4R will have their own personal guide while the Tacoma guys get lost in the desert. hahaha.

We should, but it's BLM land so you can basically camp anywhere.

This is the location we're looking at. There are 2 fire pits and lots of parking.

Damn, I may have to find my harness and see if my shoes still fit. I haven't climbed in probably 15 years.

I have an extra harness that I will bring, just gotta borrow a guide book from a friend to find all the cool spots!

Wonder what the rules are for setting up routes on BLM land. I don't think we'll be too far from the north end of the park though and I know that's where all the climbing spots are within the park. Just shot Sang and Jasmine texts to let them know about this. This is going to be one hell of a crazy mix of rigs and personalities. I can't wait. haha.
