Anyone have one of these tags in their door jams? I've looked for a while to see if there is a way to track down what was originally done to the truck.

Pretty much all i find is lawsuits and articles such as this Hot Off Lot: Sex-for-cars Suit Leaves Big Wheels Spinning - Page 3 - Orlando Sentinel The whole thing looks like a bundle of bad business.

Just wondering if I'm the only one out there.

The story on the forbidden link of doom is pretty strange and is about a large Toyota importer in the southeast.

Joyserv Co., a Moran company, would load up new vehicles with accessories such as rust-proofing, roof racks and alloy wheels, and dealers were forced to accept these more expensive vehicles whether they requested them or not.

Dealers were pressured to take part in multidealer ''tent sales,'' and to use financing, warranties and other services provided by Moran-controlled businesses, all to the detriment of their dealerships.

Nope. My '87 does not have that sticker. Never saw it before.

What does yours have on it that looks out of place / an add-on besides the sticker of course.

Previous owner told me that he was told the (the way it usually goes) that it was lifted by this company. Most of the accessories that I read about , installed by them, were very simple bolt-ons. Only other thing that was on it when I purchased it were some pretty cheap looking running boards. They however didn't look like they are professionally installed to be nice.

I have the same exact sticker on my 1986 4Runner, same date of modification everything, it was bought at Rick O' Neal Toyota in North Carolina. The only options I see are the Jeep Wagoneer style wheels and an oil base under-coating, and from what I understand are original. Mine also does not have an SR5 logo.
