Nice! I see that dude all over CL. If he's making a stealth rack now too, I'm thinking that's who I'll be going to. Save that 100-150 on shipping from Prinsu. Can't wait to see it.

I've seen him on craigslist as well if it's the same person we're talking about. I contacted him before I bought my rack. He also have rack that fits between OEM roof rack with low profile brackets. I would have bought from him but I was just impatient! Now I wish I would have waited. I like the stealth rack.:frusty:

No campfires at yellow post it looks like, but still allowed at camp grounds. GVL campground is full, but I'm thinking Crab Flats Campground. Looks like there are a lot of sites open still. Need to confirm with my buddy.

Is there gonna be any action on the trail from the beginning to our start on white mountain trail? Like a short blue trail or two.... And when we start white mountain there a couple of bypass spots on a couple sections....and only 1 real exit out and go around to the end of WM trail where can all meet back up?

is there gonna be any action on the trail from the beginning to our start on white mountain trail? no, one of the only trails leading to wm is 3n16 or 3n14 both fire roads. But wm by itself will be plenty of action and time for everybody, esp with a bigger grouplike a short blue trail or two.... And when we start white mountain there a couple of bypass spots on a couple sections....and only 1 real exit out and go around to the end of wm trail where can all meet back up?there are a few bypasses on the trail that are pretty small and short lived harder sections. The main trail is pretty good as is esp through the last 1/4 of the trail. And yes there is only 1 bypass for the last 1/4 of the trail. If anyone wanted to leave the group entirely there are several options for them but none would be a quick way back to the highway, basically once your on the trail your far from everything and commited

I tend to remember one steep uphill that may or may not be a struggle for the 2wds that was slightly hairy. Unfortunately I forgot to turn the gopro back on before we climbed it.

The first 3/4 of the trail is a walk in the park compared to the last section. The first hill climb of the last 1/4 of the trail is a good indicator. I'm a bit skeptical of a 2wd without a locker on the last section

Same. I think everyone was 4wd on that run. Any 2wd we need to make sure that there is a 4wd with a strap in front for that section. With enough momentum a 2wd should make it up, but never hurts to have that safety net.

1st of all cool fire road video....I'm still waiting to see where there was any hill at all. If there was must not have been big or maybe it was the anthill you drove over...just looks like a dirt road with sections of it covered in 4"-8" Rock ...
I mean my driveway is steeper and gnarlier than that and it has a water crossing before you head up it.
And 2nd of all ..the damn mountain isn't even "white" ...I mean come on, geez.

hahahhaha. No, we all drove up the hill, including myself. About half of us slipped halfway up, including myself. We had stopped at the bottom of it and I stopped the GoPro while we were at break, but I totally forgot to start it back up when we headed up. It's the only hill I didn't get video of and I'm kicking myself for it. Honestly, I crawled up it in 4lo 1st gear, but with enough momentum I think a 2wd could do it. At the time, there were a couple big boulders in the middle of the trail you could get caught up on, but that could have all changed by now.

I may be willing to take a quick run up this Sunday to scope it out...

We started around 9, had some mishaps at the beginning that delayed us, and were done around 6. But we did stop and have a long lunch break as well as we split the group for the hard bypass. You wanna head up Sunday? I'm down. I'll drop the kid off in highland on the way up.

I'll add we only had like 11 trucks that day, half wienied out in the last section, so with a big group this will be a long one forsure, that's why I'm suggested we have no extra time for other trails, the only other trail nearby that would be dope is Holcomb creek, which I don't think any of us is built for
