I'll add we only had like 11 trucks that day, half wienied out in the last section, so with a big group this will be a long one forsure, that's why I'm suggested we have no extra time for other trails, the only other trail nearby that would be dope is Holcomb creek, which I don't think any of us is built for

Agreed. It's going to be a long day unless we completely bomb through the easy stuff.

Anyone wanting to camp Sat night. My buddy and I are camping at crab flats campground. I've got 007, he has 008, 009 was still open as of this posting. There were also 2 other spots open but they're going fast. Yellow post sites are not allowing fires, but established campsites are including crab flats. Green valley campground is full.

I can't wait for this run. The trail looks awesome on the video. I'm interested in camping but I have to see what the wife says. She's coming this time and wanted to "what all this offroading is about". What kind of amenities on the campground per wife's question? HEHE!

Edit: just googled it and OK for the boys and I but iffy for the wife.

I've seen him on craigslist as well if it's the same person we're talking about. I contacted him before I bought my rack. He also have rack that fits between OEM roof rack with low profile brackets. I would have bought from him but I was just impatient! Now I wish I would have waited. I like the stealth rack.:frusty:

I emailed that guy asking if hed make a version for the 5th gen. No response. Got a frontrunner rack instead.

This is a dead on assessment of this trail, however I'm skeptical of a 2x WITH a locker on the last section. If u run it in the opposite direction(EtoW)then it's a non issue.

Wish I could go! We went up White Mountain at the end of June. '91 4wd T4R with open diff. Some spots were a little weird but it was well worth it. SUCH an amazing trail.... Have fun everyone!!!

Meeting at the parking lot in Green Valley Lake at 10am this morning for a prerun. Right now I'm the only rig driving, Miah should be coming but he won't have his 4th gen so he'll be navigating. If anyone else wants to go, I'm leaving at 8 so I'll check back here before I leave and I'll check in one more time when I drop my son off in highland around 9.

Didn't get too far, but I did have a locked 2wd Tacoma with me to test a couple hills. 3n17 up to white mountain is not doable from either direction without 4wd.

I orderd a baofeng and it'll get here tomorrow but I didn't look at where the programming cable was coming from. Turns it is coming from China and won't get here until after the run. Any ideas?

Shouldn't need a programming cable for standard channels. You should be fine. Did a lot of tooling around on the fire roads, there's till a ton of road to explore back in there. I'll pull the GPS track at work tomorrow.

So not trying to bring this up again but I didn't see a separate thread for the mod day. Are we doing Sat or Sun? I know Danny said he was busy Sat so I think Sunday is a better day? Does this work for you Miah? What time does everyone want to get started?

I'm only doing the rear diff breather mod which will prolly take like 20min tops haha, so after I'm just down to chill bbq and help out.
