Jump/Thumb USB Drive = easy way to play music

I do not know if this mentioned but I transfered a bunch of songs to a usb jump drive, pluged it into the usb port and the radio plays my songs That beats having to burn a cd! (this is for us non-ipod people )

I always thought the USB flash drive was a better option than connecting an iPod on USB port equipped radios. Glad to hear it works out for you.

Will it display the song info as it plays and do you have the capabilities to scroll with the info?

It displays all the song info, artist and title. I honestly did not try to scroll, but I am leaving for work in 30 min so I will try then

Pat, I can switch tracks, but it seems slow from one to the next. It will not allow you to scroll through songs while listening to one.

Great info WW77...thanks for the quick reply.

I have 3-4 thumb drives hanging around..this is awesome. I use an iPhone and it seems to stream fine (sometimes oddly with the remote start engaged I have to re-connect) but I never feel comfortable taking my eyes off the road in rush hour to switch a song.

Sounds like with the USB plugged in I could at least use the steering wheel controls(?)
