I put you on as a leader regardless cause some form or another you end up as a key part lead,middle,Clean up or on recovery detail. LOL
And also [MENTION=77357]85straight[/MENTION] is thinking of adding some more of the moderate trails and less of the green to keep people's interest while on the trail. So your definitely playing a role, brotha cause it's gonna be more than just a couple spots.
Completely agree with comms ...everyone needs to just buy a cheap Baofeng so we're all on the same page and makes us that much better as group and keeps all of us informed on the trail and immediately aware of any issues and nobody can get lost if you can see and "hear" what's going on. Also allows for more trail time fun time instead of dead time with lost people. 30 bucks and usually show up in 5 days gives you plenty of time to get one for the better of all of us

No wonder I heard nothing on the FRS at Calico , I see a couple versions on Amazon. Any reason to get the 60 buck version over the 30 buck one?

Nope I have the best one they make $70 and it glitched out on me once and it's never been right since it does what it wants and speaks different languages when it wants its a trip. But my Blue $34 buck one is good to [MENTION=109205]mwray8909[/MENTION]

The uv-5r is actually a pretty good radio. The new one seems to have a much better antenna on it which was the older models weakest link. and it comes in cool colors, which makes it easier for the guy behind you to spot after you decide to throw it out the window.

2N61Y Trail-Pre run

[MENTION=77357]85straight[/MENTION] Before I go any farther with this you guys must know something THIS RUN IS GONNA BE BADASS and YOU DONT WANNA MISS THIS I PROMISE. So I went and pre ran a couple of the newly added trails That [MENTION=77357]85straight[/MENTION] recently added and they are a Blast super fun Flexy,off camber, three wheel motion and the terrain is amazing the views are off the chain. I didn't want to leave I got out back to PioneerTown at 9pm started at 430 I videoed and photographed the entire couple of trails I did, which I went alone so doing all this took much longer. But had a great time probably one of the best trails I've done in a long time.
This is at the last 1/4 mile and a modest section of the trail notice how low my truck is at take off then how high I come up

Here is another clip of a couple different sections at the beginning you will see me have to back down a hair couple of times to get myself up and over this and you will see my front wheels come up and off the ground as I come up and over then it throws you into an off camber situation. Tricky trippy section.. also look at the right side of trail it's all embanked Rock and to the left where you can only see partial of my rig is the very edge of the trail/cliff. I will walk through in the video and point at a couple large boulders they are covered in markings of rigs that have slide that way it seems almost like they were put there to keep people from going over the edge...
