I have a 98 4runner, 4wd. I'm getting the Toytec super flex coils for the rear with the long travel bilstein shocks. Is the pan hard drop and the longer rear brake lines absolutely necessary? I read the FAQ on here about lifts for the 3rd gen. Also I'm wondering opinions for the front lift? I'm goin for a 3 in. Lift and will be getting the diff. Drop, but coil overs are a little pricey for me right now. Any ideas?? Thanks

I run 7 wraps outback which act like the superflex. You will get 3.5" lift unloaded in rear. You can get away with just bending the rear brake bracket down. I like having the extended SS line since it eliminates any rubber line that can fail. I also dont run panhard bar or drop in rear. I feel my truck drives fine but the rear axle is a little off from the front. Also at full flex the stock panhard bar likes to bring the driveshaft into the gas tank but its not to bad.

Like I stated in another thread you can go with 881's, ome sport comfort shocks and either the toytec 1" top out spacer or hit up Sonoran steel for his 1" lift sleeves whihc dont cause more droop and less wear on suspension components. This will net 3" lift but is not adjustable.

I think I've decided on the boss kit from Toytec. With the superflex coils in back with the Long travel bilsteins. In front I'm not sure which coil overs. I don't have any extra weight in the front so there would be no need in gettin heavy duty coil overs. Also, the silver and red coils, what's the difference besides color if any?

Also could anybody put up a link for longer rear bump stops since I'll need them for the long travel bilsteins and the superflex coils?
