Just arrived at the Ports of Los Angeles

I bought the first year 5 speed manual in '81. They got that wrong and it tore itself apart.

The Prado 150 has had a 6-speed for yeaaaaars. It's good to go. Toyota is just lazeballs.

I'll reserve judgement til I see one in person, but my first reaction is that it looks like a $199 Earl Scheib paint job.

Yeah. Many years ago in high school my buddy took a chance and had his old Chevy painted this color at a cheapo shop. It looked awful. He was so embarrassed.

There was another 4runner who put the old heritage decals on his white 5th gen. I think those might look good on this bright color?

I like the Voodoo Blue much better than the Calvary Blue. If Toyota comes out with another special blue color in the coming years (lets hope they do something else more creative) it would awesome for something like a San Marino Blue.

I think all the haters of the Voodoo were haters of the toughened look of 2nd gen Gen5 too. It is a shocking color but so was the Cavalry Blue especially when it replaced Cement. I'd love to see what the 2019 TRDP Voodoo guys/gals do to mod their rides. My mind is spinning with a FJC look and the three colors also adding a 3rd wiper blade for good measure.

Probably one of the worst color. Cement was the best.

after a couple of years that blue will fade and not be as bright ..will look more like a light blue than bright blue.

6 speed gearbox, legitimately better shocks, improved electronics, infotainment...are all of those things you're not getting!

But here's to a sunroof and an obnoxious color choice!

Why would they even bother when there are idiots like us lining up to pay $50K for a ten year old truck? Nissan is letting the Frontier go with great pricing because it's such a dinosaur and the tooling must have paid itself off by now. But I guess I can't really blame Toyota for riding the wave. It's still pretty hilarious to see the Tundra Pro MSRP within $1000 of the Raptor, a truck with legitimate long travel, front and rear lockers, and INSANELY better power and gas mileage.

The suspension is race tuned in Japan, it's pretty exhausting and comprehensive.

Same in Canada. All "TRD Pros" come off the boat without suspension upgrades and wheels/tires, etc... Teamster mechanics Re & Re suspension components, mount tires on wheels and put those on, etc.

My brother's job takes him to the ports here on a regular basis. He inspected the Toyota area a few months ago and sent me pictures of stacks of TRD Pro wheels, skid plates, floor mats, etc. I don't recall seeing suspension in the pictures so I wonder if that's installed in Japan or the US.

bahahaha blue balls! Sorry but that initial pic the color is fk'n terrible, glow in the dark electric WRX blue, great for a ricer but :barf: for an 4runner.
