For 3 days a tree fell down in the middle of the street 2 blocks from my house so I moved the damn thing out of the way finnaly! Everyone else just drove around it because in there mind, trees can't move.

Yeah I checked my shed and all I had was a tree trimmer so that was my only option.

And actually I had a revelation this morning, I'm saving up for a 4x4 now. I don't even know why they make 4x2 and why i had to be given one

Well its a hell of a long story but my best bud gave me 2gs and said all I had to do was put up 1500 to buy it from his dad, if I bought it my buds house hold would be minus a car (for him) so he would get a new 4runner (he got a 2007)

so you bought a truck for 1500 bucks pretty much, i would day save about 8 grand and do SAS if you are a real wheeler. less work because there is no front axle.

That is a really good idea. I never thought about it being easier to do a SAS with a 2WD vs 4WD. Not as much crap in the way. I'm pretty sure Addicted's old SAS started life add a 2WD. I say go for it.

exactly, 2wd 4runner usually cost 2-3gs less, which is plenty to get some sas parts going. dana 44 is around 300, gears 800, transfer 500, leafs 60, sas kit with out springs and axle is about 1100. so you'll end up with a pretty nice rig if you know how to fabricate.
