Just did the Starter Contacts...uhg

Car died at my work the other day (click click click)....standed. Got it towed to ex house (she is nice like that) and today I finally got my contacts in from the dealership. Well, after reading up (awesome post on here about how to change them out) I busted it out while the rig was parked on the road. Long story short, It turns out the previous owner (I just picked it up a couple months ago) replaced the stock one with a Bosch.....sooo the contacts were not the same. Soooooo I said screw it and went to the auto wreckers and picked up a used Denso starter for 45 bucks, threw in the new contacts and managed to shove it all back together. Woo Hoo, starts right up like a damn champ now! The 4runner is back on the road! Time to wheel it again!!
Anyway, just wanted to say that this site is a GREAT tool to use when searching for great advice, write ups, etc.
