We just picked up a 90 T4R. It's a V6, 5 Speed, 4.56 rear locker. Car came from up north so it does have more rust than we are used to here in Texas. It runs and drives but has some brake issues that we are going to fix.
It is basically just for mud and trails so we aren't too concerned about the rust at this point. We pulled the right rear brake hub and had never seen one that rusted. When we pulled the left side, all the shoes and hardware were gone....no wonder the previous owner made us tow it home as a condition of the sale....no brakes at all on the rear axle.
I am including a couple of pics and will keep you updated and the progress continues
