Just got my new T4R TEP

Hi everyone,
I just picked up a 2016 last weekend. I learned it's hard to find the one you want. Every time I found one I liked, it sold before I could get to the dealer. I ended up having them get one for me from a nearby city. It's the TEP with no other options. It did come with a hand painted pin stripe though, which I didn't know the other dealer put on until it got here. I didn't like it at first, but it's growing on me.

I've already got the mod bug after looking at all of your cool rides. Mods for my first week are: all weather mats, tinting windows tomorrow, ordered 5100s (going 1.75") and cornfed 1" rear spacer. I plan to add 265 Duratracs soon. I'm undecided if I will keep the stock wheels or go with SCS F5s.

Prior to this, I had a 2013 Tacoma. It had a 3" lift by way of Eibach coils, 5100s and add a leaf. SCS stealth six wheels and 265 BFG ATs.

Before that I had a 2010 FJ Cruiser Trail Teams edition. It had a 3" OME lift with XD revolvers, 285 BFG KM2s and a ToyOutfitters bumper. I really miss that one the most, but it was too hard to get the kids in and out of.

Sorry for the boring driveway shots and crappy pics, but I don't take many pictures when I'm out doing stuff. Look forward to learning more from you all and hopefully adding some useful info myself.

i also had an fj and sold mine for same reason with the kids and that rear door. mine was voodoo blue/white.

now have 2016 tep and absolutely love it,

good luck with your new toy, silver looks good with the wheels and front and rear bumper trim.

Looks great! I understand about not finding any TEP's in stock. I was looking for the same one you got...a silver TEP. After searching for 4 days, I had to put my name on one that was on its way from Japan. I won't see mine till the 1st week of February. It looks like you are going to do the same lift (Bilsteins and Cornfed spacer) too. Enjoy!

This seems to be a trend.....finding TEP and/or TEP w/ KDSS. I picked up my Magnetic Gray TEP w/ KDSS last week and drove three hours each way to get it from a dealer in Indiana.

Well worth the trip and the price was in line with what others have been posting.

good looking vehicles you have there. the cruiser really looks nice but i must agree that its hard to get the kids out from there
