Just Mounted New Five Star Wheels from FN Wheels

First off, thanks to Dustin over at FN Wheels. World class customer service, fast shipping, and great price.

Mounted them at Big O' Tires in Superior, CO (Tom is a great guy to work with at BigO, and there are new owners now).


Purchased {5x} 17" Five Star wheels (Anthracite Light Gunmetal) [https://www.fnwheels.com/new-products/fn-wheels-five-star/] and wrapped them with BF Goodrich A/T KO2 285/70/17. My last tires were BFG KOs 275s and they lasted me 6 YEARS! I was doing a 5 tire rotation, and will do the same here. Hope these new tires and wheels last as long.

I was looking to get the FX Pro, but they were coming in this week, and I wanted some new tires before a road trip to WA next week. Thanks to Dustin's recommendations, I actually liked the Five Stars better! Have some TRD caps I will add later tonight.

That looks great. I'm curious to hear about what kind of rubbing you get. I have 275 KO2's and I get a fair amount of rub at full lock. I still have the factory trail wheels with 1" spacers.

Thanks a bunch, I was testing driving in the parking lot and it was rubbing hard on the mud flap. I believe it was also rubbing on the plastic cover blocking dirt from going into the engine.

I will keep an eye out on it and pull what is rubbing in a week or so. Unless the tire tears it right out.
