Just Ordered My Burtman/Jaos rear spoiler!

Looks really good. I like it. I don't have a factory spoiler on my 98, nice looking IMO. Like to know how it does with the back window down driving in the rain?? I like mine down and usually just get a drip line off the top of the window.

Right on. Thanks. I don't mind the rain so much, the dogs are always in the back and they like it but like window visors, if it helps when I want to keep the rain out while still having the windows down some, than that's what I'd like besides it looks good IMO too on 3rd gens.

Looks good man! I ordered and received mine a few months back but I still haven't installed it yet...I can't get around drilling all those holes...yet. I also wanted to make sure the thing doesn't start cracking with temperature changes and so forth...I have also been researching just gluing it on....I know, real risky, as it is pretty heavy, but there is some insane glue out there so ya never know...Can you tell I don't want to drill?

well here is the verdict.
when the truck is parked it does squat because of the gap between the body.
when moving it pushes air down towards the window so if you have the window down a inch no water will come in but any more than that and it will come in.

New Jaos Rear Spoiler Install

Hi. I've been lurking for some time now, and I would like to post some pics of my 3rd Gen mods. Thank you everybody for all of your helpful hints. I have pretty much done all of the "required" mods. This post is for my latest installation of the Jaos Rear Spoiler from Burtman Industries. You can also see the exhaust tip from the Catback Exhaust also from Burtman Co. I have to give credit to "42's on U" for providing pics. I would also recommend watching youtube videos on how to install a bolt on spoiler. It was not easy by any means, but it was worth it in my opinion.

Received my rear spoiler a few days ago, looks great. The directions make reference to black plastic locator T-strips but I didn't receive any. Are these rear spoiler kits supposed to include the locator strips or am I missing something?

It's a white sheet that you tear off the strips of paper. Call or text me if you're missing them, 717-319-2100
