Just picked up my Forest Green 00' SR5 Sport

Its a 2000 SR5 with the Sport Package, locking rear 4.30's, 13" 4piston front brakes, handles good for the adverage car, hell i out handled my dads legend coupe.....Im the 3rd owner but might as well be the second, as the second owners only owned it since april and only put 2600miles on it. Been garage kept its entire life and is in very good condition. The truck ive allways wanted.

And finally Old and New

I already sold my old silver 92, ill miss that truck as that lil bas**** went anywhere, Bone stock and it kept up with the big boys with lifted Fj's and Land Rovers, never got that lil guy stuck and trust me i tried, parked it up to the doors in eat your shoes Mud, crawled out like it knew it was being tested. Funny thing is, my new one has the rear locker, and technically should be better off-road, but no way. That lil truck was light had amazing ground clearance and just couldnt be stopped.

The new truck may go on some wide trails, but in every other way it surpasses the older one. Ride, braking, power, Handling, towing, comfort, MPG, i wont say style, to me its like apples and oranges. I think the 92 looked amazing and had a nice rugged offroad look to it , whereas the new one has the on-road aggressive style that makes loud civic constantly rev on me at lights...

Mine was an upgrade too from my '97 and this shot is from back in late '04.

Nice and shiney with new Nittos at the time.

Jade Mica is the best color out there and is absent from the 4th gens.
You doing any mods or going to keep it simple?

Truck has 112K miles, but the way it drives and looks youd think it was brand new. The original owner was an older pilot and took meticulous care of the truck getting it serviced at Toyota for everything, and as my dad is Service Manager at a Local Toyota dealership i see no reason for that to stop.

I agree with the color combo, my ideal 4rnr was the green with tan int. I would have liked leather but the cloth suits me jsut fine and will hold up much better in the long run.

I absolutely love going off-road, however given how Mint this truck is i doubt it will see any hard trails anytime soon. This thing doesnt have so much as a ding scratch or discoloration from bird poop. This is my daily and my work horse, if i want to go off road id probibly buy another 2nd gen that i didnt care so much about getting banged up. You cant be afraid to dammage your truck when you go 4-wheeling and im not going to dammage this one just yet. In fact i doubt im even going to veer away from the grocery getter michelins it has on there now.
