if the spacers go on top of the assembly and you guys had assembled them at toytec does that mean my mechanic is going to have to unassemble the coil shock assembly or does this just bolt on top of that??

If you bought OME then there was no way they were assembled at Toytec. only the Toytec coilovers with Bilstein shocks are preassembled.
now, you can buy the toytec ones unassembled like I did, but you cant get the OME coilovers assembled

I got my OMEs pre assembled by toytec. It cost $50 each but it was worth it to me because a few years ago I compressed the coils myself when I installed my old Daystar lift and it was sketchy to say the least. I think mostly due to the fact the compressors I used came from Harbor Freight.

The top plate does require longer bolts for installation, so yes, they would need to be reassembled.

masson74, I would just leave the 890's in the rear, and leave the front completely alone. Don't put any spacers on it. The very little bit of rake you have right now does not look bad at all, in fact I think it looks better with a little rake personally. If you put spacers up front to "level it off", whenever you put a 100lbs of stuff in the back of your Runner, it'll be sagging in the back....which looks horrible.

Wow this ticks me off even more. So I paid an extra $100 for you guys to assemble the front shocks and coils and now I am going to have to pay the mechanic even more to disassemble and reassemble them!!!! When will this end.
Jenn told me it would be easier to put on the front spacers. Now it is sounding like it would have been cheaper to put on the 906 rear coils.
Wish I could get a straight answer.
If my mechanic does have to reassemble the front shocks and coils then TOYTEC should atleast refund me the $100 assembly charge!!!
Come on guys MAKE IT RIGHT ALREADY!!!!!

Im gonna be straight up with you... you just bought new coils and they havent settled yet, in a few months you wont even notice it...
If you spend the money to have a mechanic put in the top plate, you are gonna have 1" rake the other way in a few months...
its that simple... everyone has rake, most trucks and Suvs are standard with rake one way or another.
2nd: a 3" lift is not gonna make your tires look any smaller than a 2" lift, 1" is not enough of a change to notice, unless you look for something to complain about.

i can guarantee you that the 906's will end up sagging so if you put those in and it will end up with a reverse rake. its only a 1 inch difference now so i really don't see the problem. if you ever load up your 4runner with anything, these springs will be much less likely to bottom out on the bumpstops. not to sound like an ahole but stop whining and live with it. the springs you have now will settle too and it will probably end up at the same height.

Their (Toytec's) customer service is nothing to write home about - I certainly won't be buying from them again.
Darrick is the only reasonable guy to deal with over there - Doug is an absolute ass on the phone. Very confrontational.
In any case, when I had issues with my coils peeling I contacted Toytec and was hoping to get a replacement in a stiffer rating. After trying to explain my exact set up (Shrockworks plate bumper, 10,000lb winch, sliders and no front sway-bar contributing to front end weight and body roll) it was impossible to convince Doug that a 700# coil was a better option than the #600 provided. I insisted on having 700# coils sent out which was the best option - I came to this conclusion by sifting through threads on TTORA and finding people running similar setups.
Long story short - coils peeled after 1 winter (bad), I was able to get replacement coils (good), it was a pain in the ass getting the right coils (bad), first representative I talked too was ignorant and confrontational (bad), had to install the coils on my own (bad).
All in all, nothing special and I certainly wasn't impressed.

Wait... stop a minute... listen to what you just said... you had issues with a 10k lb winch and no front sway bar and 600# coils is what you ordered initially?? or is did you order 700# coils?
what you ordered initially and what you get is key. first of all, I have heard no company tell you to remove the front sway bar. OF COURSE you are gonna get body roll. but you know that, thats why you took it off!
and seriously, with a 10k winch? you think that the 600 vs. 700 rated coils are gonna make much difference?? put on your swaybar!! that will help!

Im sorry you saw this as "Insulting your intelligence" I was asking alot of questions for things you said that sounded vague...
I still have no idea what shocks you were mixing with these coils,what the other coils were etc.
from the info you gave us here, I have no reason to fault Toytec, Now, the latest post that you put up just today helps me understand a bit more where you are coming from.
and I tend to give people/businesses etc benefit of the doubt several times. The success stories from Toytec here and other boards are numerous, the people that arent so happy are few. I dont work for Toytec, and have no hard defined loyalties to them. I do however, have a problem with people being judged unfairly (based on the info you gave, I felt that was the case) and that may have been the reason I jumped in to defend them.
