Everything seems to work. Did a little loop on the freeway. Not a big difference on acceleration but seems to get a little more umph. I will play around with the tubing sons next week when I can get to the rest of my tools and mess with the A/F mix and timing.
Here is a pic of it all hooked up.

I will do a more in depth write up on it when I do it. But basically there is a long flat sprig on under the black plastic cap on the meter.

The spring is attacked to a ring with teeth on the outer edge. you can adjust the spring tension by moving the teeth on the lock. From everything I have read the most common recommendation is to move the stopper 6 teeth richer. But as I haven't noticed a performance difference yet. I plan on first getting a base on the new mileage. I was getting approximately 300 miles to the tank 16/18 mpg I tend to drive it very easily on the street. Only 60 on the frwy and slow take off's. No need to have a heavy foot for me it just costs more money.
But here is the tricky part I got it off of a smaller engine the Lexus was a 2.5 liter.

Experiment time! I noticed a slight coolant leak on the line that runs through my throttle body. The hose was a little crusty on the throttle body clamp.

Which is there for the purpose of keeping it form freezing. Well I live in Southern California freezing to us is 40*. So in efforts to keep the incoming air as cool as possible, cold is more dense then hot, I bypassed it. I am aware that the open air filter without an air box is sucking in hot air from the engine compartment. But if you feel the throttle body when the engine is warmed up it is considerably hotter then the plenum thus heating the air further before it gets to the cylinders. I have driven around a little so far with no negative effects. I think if anything I will notice something on a cold start so I will wait until tomorrow to see. Because it seems to be fine when the vehicle's cooling system is in open circuit.

I was planning on getting my coils installed today. So first we swapped the stock brake line for the longer steel braided line from Lowrangeoffroad.com No problem installed and bled. Then we disconnected the shocks as I got longer ones.

The problem arose you see when I got the old coil out

Well damn. I also measured the stock coils as I couldn't find it posted on here. The stock coils unsprung are 14 inches. Well it wasnt a total loss of a day. We did install the new shocks and braided brake line. I am teaching my little brother how to wrench. He did good today.

still on honeymoon basically ?

In that case I suggest accessorizing with an air mattress by TruckBedz ,
that fits near perfectly between the wheel wells.

Perfect for lovers on the going and going and going stage.

I would sell mine but its been pounded into the deck too many times

Your are correct sir. Automatic differential disconnect. I never looked this up before. Glad I have this awesome forum. Thanks

I finally took it out on a true trail run. I joined the T4r group on the pilot rock run today via 2N17X. Holy $&!t I can't believe I made it the whole way. I wasted some runner and lost some fuel on one of the climbs. It was only about 20 minutes before I had pushed my truck beyond what I ever had before. But it was an awesome day!

Thank you for all the words of encouragement from the onlookers. We were only as fast as the slowest rig.....me I hope I didn't hold the group up too bad.

I had a very old compressor to air up at the end of the day. I swear we spent another hour airing up. So here is the newest addition in progress.

And I cut the tank off of an old nail gun comp.

I'm still sorting out permanent locations. Under the hood will be the easiest for the comp and I think the tank will up on the frame near the spare.

I just need to find the fittings for the push type plastic line. I tried HD and Ace but no luck yet. I think a hard line would be to much of a P

I think I found my compressor spot. I think I have used this rear blower one time, mostly to see if it worked.

It was great meeting u Sunday Andre! You didn't hold us up, hell u were the only one to make it to Pilot Rock with us(Danny,Kimo,Kevin,me). Now u got on-board air, do I sense an air-locker coming soon! :wof:
