Man that looks great. I have been wanting to do a full 99+ change over on mine. How is the light output on the 99+ compared to the 96-98 lights?

Well, I wouldn't know for sure. Mine is a '99. I was just changing out to new ones b/c my stock ones were getting bad.

UPS dropped some stuff of for me today

Drained my front & rear diffs and the transfer case. Oh how the front diff was due! While the COMPLETE PAIN IN THE ASS front skid is off I'll go ahead and do an oil change and finish up draining the transmission tomorrow. I'm skipping the radiator flush b/c I'll most likely do the timing belt maintenance not too long after I get back from the Texas trip. Sea foam is last on the list. Wish I had time to do build the rear cargo bins. The rear bumper is gonna eat up a lot of time unless I can find a place to powdercoat it in a day or 2 and not pay more than what it would have cost me from CBI to begin with.

I plan on regearing my diffs soon, and will be in need of that gear oil. May I ask where you ordered it from? Did you get a good deal on it?

I bought it all off Amazon. Everyone's prices are about the same and it was hard to source local. I went with Amazon b/c I've had great experience with them and free shipping is :thumb3:

So shipping company kinda screwed me. They didn't have anyone at the warehouse to unload the crate today so it has to wait till Monday. Looks like it's being delivered straight to the powder coater Monday morning cus I don't have time to wait another day. So, I'm crossing fingers everything fits right during installation.

On the bright side, I have all day tomorrow free so I'm finally going to build my side cargo bins.

Finished up most of it last night. I still need to finish the lid tops and box in the subs. Maybe finish it up Tuesday. Here's what I got so far.

I know, and I didn't even get to see it all!

No bumper tonight, sorry! Picking it up tomorrow after work from the powder coating company. Then heading to a friends to put it on! Of course, it's the day before I leave lol. But better to have it now than not at all.

Finished up the cargo boxes tonight. I needed to box in the subs and redo the hinges. My first attempt were with crappy small cheap hinges that rattled like crazy.. bad idea. Lastly, slapped on the locking clasp. When I get back from my trip I'm going to carpet them and put a strut on the doors to keep it held up when I need to use both hands to dig stuff out. My subs are waaaayyy weaker than what they were before. I don't know if they're getting too much air or not enough. They're boxed in and sealed So I'm wondering if I need a port now.

Looks CLEAN! I would paint the wood, or put some cheap carpet on them to finish it off. I like the idea of holding the boxes in place with the carpet rings. Macgyver!
