K&N Dyno Chart
Here is a Dyno Chart I got from K&Ns web site. I also got an email I posted on another thread about intakes that list the peak torque gain. I feel like my 4Runner pulls harder with the kit at higher RPM. But I also run Premium Fuel "93 Octane" all the time.

Thank you for your interest in K&N products. We do not have any dyno graphs for these kits at this time. We do have the peak gains though.
57-9023 peaked 13.68Ft/lbs @3930 RPM. V-6 Kit
57-9022 peaked 14.41Ft/lbs @ 3626RPM. V-8 Kit

On your website you provide a dyno chart with Horse power numbers for all your FIPKs. Is it possible to see a dyno chart for Torque for the 57-9022 and 57-9023 kits. I own both a 2004 V-8 and a V-6 model Toyota 4Runner and am interested in the kits but I would like to see Torque numbers first. Thank you,

On the webpage talking about the 63 or 77 series intake is the following quote.

I have the 57 series and was provided with a CARB Exempt sticker that I placed under the hood on the fan shroud.
What does that mean for you?
If you live in CA you "should" not pass an emissions check in that state with this intake mod.
If you live in a state with no or limited emissions checks you might have no problem.
I have been through 3 emission checks with my 57 series kit in NC at a Toyota dealership and have passed with no problem. It was never mentioned. It is the kind of test where they hook up to the OBD port with a computer that is connect directly to the state DMV computer system. It just looks at the normal operating parameters of the vehicle. It is also smart enough to know if you just had the codes reset and will not pass if you did.
All that said. The 57 and 63 series 9023 kit are identical. When i got my 57 series it came with an instruction sheet for the 63 series.
You might call the 800 number I posted for K & N Tech support and ask about the emissions issue before you buy if you are concerned about it.
You should shop around there probably are better intakes out there since it has been a few years since I got mine.
