Just installed OME 880/906s along with OME shocks front and rear and the ride is great. Not stiff and handles much better now. Ended up with a lift just north of 2”. I will continue to run 265/75/16s on it. Looking forward to seeing your build progress.

Wheeling last weekend I found that I needed some more rear clearance. Went ahead and did a hitch flip tonight. I think it’s going to help quite a bit.
Also, I forgot to mention that I got a Thule roof rack last week. Not sure what model it is because I got it from a local auction but it was brand new and fits great. Bolted it to the lower cross bars because I didn’t like how high it sat on the normal cross bars.

Made it out to Big meat run Amin Disney Oklahoma on Saturday. It was awesome to see so man my people out but we weren’t able to do much wheeling due to the amount of people.
This was the first trip I’ve taken at 70+ mph and the runner did great.

Memorial weekend trip. Ended up with a ruined tire and a nice dent in my hood but had fun. If anyone knows of a factory desert dune or a sport hood near north west Arkansas I could use one lol.

It was my fault, put the high lift under the front bumper and started jacking without realizing that there was a bracket bolted to the top of the jack that hung over my hood. I pushed it out from the inside and ordered a bug guard to cover it up for now.
So, looking for new tires. I could buy one for now but with the areas that we wheel I believe it is just a matter of time before I ruin another tire.
I am thinking of going with the cooper discoverer st maxx in 255/85/16s. I am finding that I could a little more clearance to get up some of the ledges that Ive been trying to climb.

Ended up ordering 255/85/16 KM2s. I liked the look of the Coopers but have experience with the KM2s and know that they will hold up in the areas that I offroad.
They should be here Friday. Hopefully I don't have to do too much hammering to keep them from rubbing. Now to sell the other 3 Falkens..

Got the new tires mounted, bug guard on, new lights and grill done this weekend. It looks much more aggressive than before. Pretty happy with the results.
Did some test flexing and had to “massage” the fenderwells. I also think I’m going to have to lose the rear mudflaps

Built some rock sliders out of 2x4 rectangle tube and shampooed the carpets. Also, started getting supplies gathered for a trip we are taking to Colorado in a couple of weeks.
I need to start on the rear bumper because the new 255s rub when flexing but I think its going to wait till after our trip.

Well, we made it to Colorado and back. Stayed at the Eureka campground outside of Silverton and would highly recommend it. The staff was very helpful.
Did quite a few different passes, engineer hurricane, Minnie, Maggie, ran Poughkeepsie down hill until the wall but didn’t end up going down it and had to turn around. Quite a few more but I do not remember all of the names right now.
We also visited Ouary, Gunnison, Lake City and Silverton which were all great places.
6 of us went in 3 vehicles. My runner, an 01 runner, and a 5.0 ranger that a friend built over the past few months. All 3 preformed flawlessly. The ranger was able to haul most of our gear in the bed and the extra power was nice going up the mountains. It was an awesome trip, 2500ish miles with no issues other than a bad radiator cap on the 2001 4Runner. We were able to Pick one up in Gunnison.
Saw some of the most beautiful mountains in the country and spent time with good friends. Also, I proposed at odom point after 6 years of being together and she said yes. I will definitely be going back next year.
