Kdss better ride?

Is it possible to move KDSS from a TE to another model that doesn't have it installed?

Anything is possible, but it would not be cost effective. This is one of the main drawbacks of KDSS, it's very unique and integrated... The frame, control arms, axle... are all slightly tweaked for it. Easy to rip out, but very difficult to put on a truck that never had it. Also, pretty difficult to put standard swaybars on a truck that had KDSS since all the mounts are missing.

I traded in my 2010 SR5, for a 2014 Trail with KDSS. Both 4x4. Got tired of body roll and nose diving on the SR5. The Trail provides a much better and stable ride.

I drove a few pre facelift SR5 4WD and Trails w KDSS, and then facelifted SR5s. I haven't read anywhere about suspension changes in facelifted SR5s but to me they're much less floaty than pre facelift. Not as buttoned up as KDSS but more tolerably stable than before. YMMV.
