KDSS Leak??

... So it is a leak...

Went in for one last checkup before the warranty is up. Toyota is taking care of it. Ordering a new front piston, and boot assembly. I guess they replace and re-pressurize the system.

Regardless, I'm driving a Taco while this is done so cheers.

Glad they're taking care of it for you! Let us know what the repair costs under warranty are, so the rest of KDSS'ers know how much lube to buy if we're denied a claim.

Consider yourself lucky... that would be an expensive repair on your own dime.

6 hours of work and i think $1800 for parts. I'll know more next week but at $120 an hour and parts comes out to ~$2500
