Keep or sell a 2015 4R TRD PRO?

I bought a PRO about six months ago. I went to the dealership to buy a Tundra and was blown away by the 4R. I've enjoyed the vehicle but after driving a trucks for over twenty years, the 4R just doesn't feel right. I will admit that it is the nicest and most badass vehicle I've every owned. Have any of you experienced this or know someone who has? I'm not looking for someone to make the decision for me but maybe some words of advice would be appreciated.

I came from a Raptor (totaled) to a T4R Pro. Love it. Give it time. Will I get another raptor? sure, possibly in 2017/18. Until then I'm gonna enjoy this fine Toyota and crush trails that I wouldn't typically in the raptor.

Doesn't hurt to put a for sale sign on it and see what happens. You should be able to get a good price for it. The dealers are auctioning the 2015 pros for $42k at manheim auctions, so they should be able to give you a something very close to that for a trade in.

I think Toyota Financial Services sell their cars through Adesa still.. I'd be interested to know Adesa's averages for the TRDP

Don't have access to my adesa account anymore. They started auctioning in vegas in 2011 or 2012 and they were pretty slow compared to manheim.

I'll say do whatever makes you satisfied and go with whats gonna make you happy. Why keep something that your not satisfied with. But i say T4Rs are awesome looks wise and driving them!

The prices are crazy right now. There is a used 2015 inferno with >6k miles for 46k+ on eBay .

I think you answered your own question in your post- you were blown away by the 4R but it doesn't feel right. Sell it at what will clearly be at least even money (if not a premium despite the mileage) and grab yourself what I'm sure will also be a very nice truck.

Ha that's the same dealer where I bought my brand new inferno TRD for 41.5k back in Sept and they're asking 5k more for one with twice my mileage

I can't speak for the Pro model, but I can give you feedback on your delima, I traded in a F150 for my 2015 TP last August and it took me until December to really warm up to the truck. I really like it now, no more regrets. Picked up my dad today for his 80th birthday and even though he has ridden in it a lot, he even said "this is a great truck"

I do miss the large truck and may one day get another, but until then I will enjoy my 4Runner and the reliability of a Toyota.

I sold my TRD Pro 4Runner and just bought a TRD Pro Tundra.

I bought the Tundra due to a lot of relatives from out of state who come out to visit and we take them out on road trips and other adventures. The 4Runner had a lack of power too, which frustrated me.

It just depends on what you want to do.

If I strictly wanted an off road machine, it would be the 4Runner all day long.

I have long list of complaints about the Tundra (mainly interior), but the positive outweighs the negative.
