Keeping the rear window clean.... Help!

Windex + towel = clean back window.

I also agree with other posters that this is worse than my 3rd gen and possible the only thing I don't care for on the 5th gen.

Agreed. It was the first time I found myself looking for washboard surfaces to shake it off the back window. It was kind of cool to watch it fall off in sheets.

Two options.
A) Move your dad to Florida.
B) Get some Beaver (never a bad thing, no matter what form.)

The only way is to put a full width mud flap right underneath the edge of the back bumper. Almost all the stuff that hits the back window comes from underneath not the top. Putting the mud flap there will prevent it. Anything else will be ineffective on a vertical glass at the rear of a vehicle.

Nobody wants to do the only thing that will work because it would be ugly. They would rather just complain instead of fixing it.

I am wondering if the hula skirt type of mudflap would work, you see these on the UPS road trailers. :hatsoff:

Build a lower rear spoiler that pushes the air to the sides from the center....but then you couldn't wheel
