It's coming along nicely man. You started with the small stuff, but I see a trend here of you ramping up to bigger and better mods!

That thing must bump pretty good with two 12's back there. I've always thought that color matched spoiler looks pretty good on your 'Runner too. One question on that, is that a rattle can paint job or did you have it painted at a shop? It came out pretty good either way.

I was looking at your pics and I can see what you were talking about in your other thread about the slider install.

Nice! What kind of a difference did you notice in the ride when you upgraded the UCA's? I've been secretely considering this for a while, and just want to make sure it actually makes a difference.

BigFish: Yep, I did start with some "small stuff" haha. But as the years have progressed and the love for my truck continued to flourish... I delved deeper into my accounts to 'soup' this thing up a little bit. I look at your truck and pitch a tent ( :banana: ) and find myself occasionally wiping drool from both sides of my mouth. As for the 2 12's, yes they bump very well... I have a Kicker ZX750.1 Mono amp powering them, and a separate 4 channel Kicker ZX500.4 amp for the head unit and speakers. A while back, I actually got taken to court for my subs, a d!ck-head officer heard them in traffic and decided to meet his quota... and I'll end my story for that one there. The spoiler was a rattle can job, I used a couple coats of primer and then threw on 3 coats of Duplicolor Silver and it's held up very well. I'd say it's been painted for about 2 years now, and no fading.

Thor: I like the touch screen deck. It does kinda block the middle buttons on the digital climate control for me, but I still get control of the temp knob and fan speed knobs if I reach around the side. If I were to get it reinstalled though, I'd put the compartment above the flip up screen.

Econ: I really like my new UCA's. They have tightened up 9 years of loose-ness in the front end and are about 50% lighter than the OEM ones. I got mine for about $430 shipped.

Troopa: I go up to Rausch Creek Offroad Park in PA. There's also a mild trail that's semi off-road in Green Ridge State Forest in WV/MD where I've been a couple times too.

Your truck looks great! clean, simple and tastefully done..How many miles do you have on your Nittos now? How have they performed? I'm about to get new 285/75 tires and these are at the top of my list, but want to hear from some first-hand experience. Thanks

Thanks man... I probably have around 25k on them in the most recent pictures which are from last weekend. They have performed very well on dry roads, wet roads, and snowy roads up to 2 unplowed feet. The only place they could be better (which accounts for about 2% of my total driving) is in sticky mud. The treads aren't super wide, so they do get a bit clogged, but that's my only complaint really. They are quiet and ride very well at about 35 PSI.

I really like everything you have done to your runner, it has really turned out nicely! Why were you not running a grill on the Rausch Creek run?

Appreciate the kind words man.. I knew where you were going with your original comment; no harm no foul

Ripcord - I kept the grille off for the RC run for no reason in particular really. I had just finished installing my LF 170's and they don't point where I want them with the grille installed. The Satoshi mod is right around the corner, which will give me the clearance I need for the lights to fit correctly.

I've always used EBC pads on my Supra, first the GreenStuff, then I went to the Red. I think they're great pads, they're quiet and they stop well, BUT they are dusty as hell.

Are you having that issue with the GreenStuff on yours?

Nope, not at all. And as soon as I ordered them I thought to myself "Aw $hit, I'm gonna be cleaning my wheels every few days." Funny enough, I was just actually noticing today how clean my front wheels look given that it's been almost a month since I've washed my truck. I haven't driven it quite as often in the past week or so, but over all I'm very happy with the performance of the EBC pads... great bite and minimal dust issues. I noticed a HUGE improvement over the stock pads.

That's good to hear. I've been considering putting the EBC's on my '97 (it's gonna need new front brakes soon), so thanks for your review.

I think the reason they're so dusty on the Supra is because it's so heavy, the brakes are so big, and more accelleration = more braking.
