Key Reminder ding disable

Hello everyone,

I found instructions on how to do this on a 4th gen (cut one wire), but has anyone done this on their 5th gen? Looking to cleanly disable the dinging noise that occurs when the key is in the ignition and you open the door. I just want to

I don't think this is possible through the Techstream software.

Let me know if you have done this or where to look for instructions.

real easy in the 5th gen. you have 2 options.

1. remove key

2. close door

I disabled the key-reminder ding in my FJ and yes, it is desirable for me. The key reminder offers zero benefit, and is really annoying when say filling up at the gas station with passengers in the car. Hopefully I'll figure it out, and if I do will check back in.
