Quick question, but if I buy a new remote and program it with the instructions for use, will my old remote still work afterwards? Sorry if this has been answered before, but couldn't find anything with a quick search.

are you just getting an additional keypad? If so it shouldn't matter. It its a whole new system then perhaps yes.

Yes just an additional keypad. Good to hear, I wasn't looking forward to spending an arm and a leg at the dealership.

When you do the programing of the new one make sure the old one is not in your pocket or close as you can de-program it in the process. I felt a little silly after reprogaming an extra key fob that I picked up for mine and the next time I went to use my existing one it did nothing.
