Keyless Remote

I am looking for a keyless remote for my 1999 toyota 4runner limited on ebay but not sure which one is compatible with my truck. I do not have any previous remotes from before that are supposed to have the number on the back, i do not have the original manual either. Does anyone know how i can figure out which remote will work on my truck.

I dont know if they changed the remote on the 99's or not, I can only tell what one the 1997 4R takes. But, if you need to program a remote once you find it check out this link. It only took me about 1 min. to program my 2nd remote. Good luck

That is the same remote that I have for my 2000.

The keyless remotes for 99' & 2000 are the same... How did you happen to NOT have both remotes in your posession...??? Did you lose them both...?? I too had ordered a spare original remote from E-bay-- dealers wanted ten times as much... got one for only $15 to replace one that I had lost... Seller even provided me with programming instructions-- remote worked great...!!!

Be sure when buying on E-bay to look for these numbers for the correct remote for the 1999-2000 models...
