Let me know what you think of your upper control arms. At some point I need to buy a set.
Jesse1983 ... could a moderator please consider consolidating these three threads on the same member's King setup into a single thread?
I am looking forward to seeing your stance and thread count. I have the same setup just a older generation. I have about 3 threads on the coilovers and there is too much rake in the front. I am thinking I need to go up about 1-1.5 inches in the front. I will have a better idea after seeing yours.
I am hoping to be able to get some 285's under it and get rid of the spacers.
I love the ride on from the Kings. It is not so stiff that I am beat up at every bump but stiff enough that I don't bounce.
King told me that I needed to change out the springs to get more lift. They said I shouldn't put any more preload on the coils. That left me not sure what to do.
The front looks a touch high. It may settle right in.
Looking good for sure
Thank you sir!
I thought the rear is a bit high. Hopefully that settles in a bit too.
Which rear coils are you running? *nevermind, saw it
I actually wanted to ask you how many threads are showing on your kings? Or can you measure at the coilover collar?
Yours do seem like they have more turns than mine.
Sorry man, I just saw this. I'll try to get the measurement by tomorrow afternoon.
I was at jc alignments today and saw your rig while getting my alignment done.
Love the kings! Once I saw your rig I almost instantly knew it was from this thread! Funny I spotted it. Nice looking ride. Hope you get it aligned properly.
I was looking for the plushest set up considering it hauls my wife and 3 kids. Plus my wife drives it 99% of the time. I also got the best deal on kings. I do have Icons on my 05 Tacoma so I'm very familiar with digressive valving compared to King's progressive valving. Overall I'm satisfied in 2 different ways!
