Just received a call from the shop. Our vehicle is throwing a "knock sensor" code. Has anyone had to do one on a 2006 V-8? We just put new rubber on 2 weeks ago and it only has 76k on it.
The symptoms we noticed: engine light on, VSC light on. I drove it to the shop and noticed engine power seemed to be off and interestingly it didn't go into 5th gear when clearly in 5th (on tranny selector), noticed the higher rpms and dropping mpg's.
I hadn't seen any posts on this. The parts won't be in until tomorrow, oh and of course our aftermarket warranty won't cover :crybaby:
