Most of them are pretty shady. If you live in or near a city you will have better success. I recently had my Jeep moved. I live in a smaller city in the desert in Ariziona. The moving companys do not own the trucks they just contract it out to drivers accross the counrty. I went with a company called Upscale moving or something like that. It was supposedly highly rated. I was promised a pickup date and the driver never showed up after I waited on him all day. The drivers like bigger citys better because they can load a lot of cars in one day and do not have to drive as far to get them. The driver all of a sudden got a better deal than driving all the way to me and left me hanging. The company eventually came through several days later and the move was a success. If you go with a company that quotes you the lowest price you will have more trouble getting a driver there when you want. The drivers look at their computers and select the cars they want to haul based on price and convienience to them. The companies will all make a lot of promises but in the end they are just setting in an office (seems like most of them are in Miami, Flordia for some reason) telling you how good they are but will have all kinds of excuses when your car does not get picked up as promised.
