Hey guys, sorry for the 3rd question.. but i think i am done haha, i found this sub box and amp for $50 bucks.. sounds like a steal. Seller said it is 400watts, i dont like a lot of bass but my stock system is really hurting. The sub is 10", do you think it will be overwhelming even turned down low? My other option was to go for a bazooka but they run over $150, what do ya guys think - oh ps i have a aftermarket headunit (sony double din with sub hook ups and i removed the factory amp), thanks!

well its 1 ten in a ported box. the non ported are usually less loud in my opinion but the amp will always have dials to tune to your liking. And the head unit will also have the option to turn the bass down so you can get it to your liking for sure.
but be sure this guy isent selling a blown amp or sub!

Haha I know I know but how do I tell.. Any easy way to test an amp or sub?

as far as the amp you would probobly need to actually hook it up.
or possibly ask if he can prove toyou that they work by hooking them up for you before you buy them

The only way to know for sure is to hook 'er up and play something with a strong bass track through it. I wouldn't buy it on someone's word. The old adage is usually correct: if the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Agreed! Do check it out first before you actually give him the money and he screws you over!
