Highly recommend this product per the pics below. Out with the family today on an "easy" trail in Colorado and recent rains turned part of that trail to pretty difficult. Long story short I got stuck on deep uneven moguls going up hill and used this product to even them out to get me out of a jam That and mogul mode on my TEP helped a lot too. A bit pricy but a kick ass product.

Sweet, a giant ass spork for me to use on Thanksgiving!

Do the teeth cut through roots? If so, very handy around the casa too.

Yip. Small roots. The dirt I was going though was dirt and pretty hard clay. Went through that like butter. Finally a 'real' shovel for SUV's.

Looks great but very familiar...my dad has been doing this with his shovels for years.

He has about 2 acres of property and has a shovel collection that rivals my gun collection.

He has been cutting his shovels with a grinder and hack saw like this since I can remember and I am 57, he learned from his dad.

Facilitates digging and a number of snakes have fallen victim to that big fork....

With all that being said, I would buy one.

Forked shovel

Nice looking fork. I always carry a shovel. Just an ordinary $20 garden variety. Here in dry So Cal we're more likely to get stuck in deep sand than mud.

I came close in putting a Home Depot kind of shovel on my truck, but got this one instead due to the clay here in Colorado. Worked out well.

322 off of Mt Herman. Pretty Easy trail till the very end before the lake. Recent rains have made for some pretty deep uneven moguls. Coming back up the trail bottomed out to my slider and got stuck for a bit.

Oh man dont get me started! I got stuck on 318 just a few weeks ago. Very humbling experience.
