Haven't done any of that yet, haven't really had the time. Rubber cones are still in. I've had no issues with the stock setup and 890 springs.

Finally! Tundra brakes
Finally got around to doing the Tundra brake upgrade. Recently my front brakes were grabbing very hard with the slightest touch so I needed to replace the calipers anyway. I bought the kit from Callahan Brake Parts. The rotors and calipers seem high quality and received very positive reviews online.
Took the opportunity to bleed all of my brake lines and put in fresh fluid. The old rotors and calipers came off easy enough. I had to trim the dust shields a little to fit the larger calipers.
Got everything installed, slapped the wheels back on and took the truck for a test drive. The increased stopping power is definitely noticeable. I'm happy!

Picked up some 16" TRD wheels with the Wrangler Kevlar AT's for my wife's 4th gen. Much better than the 18" Limited wheels with Wrangler SR-A's that are on the truck now. Not many LT tire options are available for an 18" wheel. Once these wear out I'm gonna Daystar level the truck and wrap these rims in some Cooper AT3's

Oh yeah, forgot to mention. Picked up a 2007 Limited for my wife. Ultra clean, I'm the second owner. Gonna keep this one mostly stock since my 3rd gen is pretty heavily modified. I may make a build thread for it if it becomes worthy. For now, I'm planning on replacing the entire suspension with KYB Gas-adjusts and leveling it out with a Daystar 1.5/2.5. An ARB bull bar might be in order as well

Haven’t posted on my thread in a while. Noticed most of my pics have expired, might update everything soon.
Anyway, finally got around to refreshing the suspension on my 4th gen. Went with KYB Strut Plus coilovers, KYB Shock absorbers for the rear paired with Moog coils. Took me about 6 hours. It lifted the front about 2” but will settle over time. Rotated the tires too.
Overall I’m very pleased with how it feels and drives. The truck drives very tight now, the KYBs eliminated the excess body roll while turning and nose diving during braking. The truck feels brand new.

Running stock size Wildpeaks. Interestingly, the 265/60R18 Wildpeaks are 6 ply as opposed to 4 ply for the P rated tires. Essentially a C rated LT. Love them.

Thoses sway bar end link nuts were TIGHT. Had to double up two wrenches and it took everything I had to break them free.

Everyone always says how hard it is to get to the rear top mounting bolt. It wasn’t hard at all, peace of cake.

The bottle jack came in handy for getting the coils out, made it super easy!

She’s sitting pretty much level which was the goal. I could probably go up to 265/65r18 but I’m happy with the stock size. Plus this is my wife’s truck and it probably won’t see any trails. Just some beach excursions to the Outer Banks and some snow in the winter time.

My wife got me a Smittybilt XRC 9500lb winch for Christmas last year. I installed it right before I left for deployment.

My valve cover gaskets are leaking a little and need to be replaced. I’ll get around to it eventually. Also hit 190k the other day.

We also had our first baby. She’s 9 months now and is about to start walking! Between my Naval career and our daughter it’s hard to find time to work on the 3rd gen.

Finally found the time to giving the Silver Bullet some love. Valve covers have been leaking for about a year. Between back to back deployments and taking care of my family I haven’t had the time and it bugged the shit outta me neglecting the 3rd gen. But she held faithful and never let me down.
In the last week I’ve done:
-Valve Cover gaskets
-Valve cover grommets
-PCV valve
-spark plug seals
-cam plugs
-resealed the half moons
-replaced Sway Bar bushing w/ Energy Suspension bushings
-New windshield wipers
-scored a brand new LT265/75R16 KO2 for $75 to replace my spare tire. Full size spare woohoo!
-Ran some fuel system cleaner through a tank of gas
-SeaFoamed the intake
-SeaFoamed my oil (couple hundred miles before oil change)
-Changed the oil
-topped off coolant
-detailed inside and out
Hot damn she’s running as good as ever! 190k miles. I’ll never sell this damn truck

Not much changed on the Silver Bullet, just put the old 5-stars back on a few months ago and switched to Cooper Discoverer AT3s. Walmart had a stupid price on them so I had to pull the trigger. The ST Maxx's were about 6 years old but only had 23k miles on them, lots of tread left. Sold them for more than I bought the AT3's for. Few pics of them below. Also, sold the wife's 4th gen unfortunately. That 4th gen was WAY too clean. Never even went off-road. Replaced it with a 2010 Sienna 
another baby is coming and we need more room. The Sienna is awesome though! <br/>

Congrats on the baby!! Sounds like we have had somewhat similar experiences. I too, went from the St Maxx's to the AT3's. I miss my Maxx's though. Also had another baby last year. Well, my wife did. Lol.

Minivans are nice for everyday driving (other than being a bit big for parking). Finally got around to changing the transfer case oil and front diff oil. I did the rear diff a couple months back. Fresh crush washers and Valvoline 75W-90. My Slippery Pete pump makes it a breeze.
Also changed the spark plugs and wires. Full NGK. Thankfully I had these long grabber things to retrieve the plugs out of the tubes. Saved a lot of headache. She’s purrin!

Also changed the spark plugs and wires. Full NGK. Thankfully I had these long grabber things to retrieve the plugs out of the tubes. Saved a lot of headache. She’s purrin!

Beautiful. I love seeing this kind of maintenance. This is the stuff that gets us to 300K and beyond.
Recently I tried fiddling with my front diff. Stripped the fill plug. Now I know you just did your diff, but Lexus makes an exact fit drain and fill plug that doesn't use a hex bit. It has the attachment for a regular wrench. I can send you p/n's if you're interested. Still waiting to knock it out. I'm going to have a buddy weld the hex bit into the stripped bolt for removal.

I have taken an impact I belive t 55 [ around that size ] and pounded that in the hex slot. Then I just spun the hex head out with a 1/2 inch rathet.

Luckily all of my plugs came out pretty easy, definitely busted my knuckle open getting the front diff drain out. But I would love that part number for future reference. Good luck with the weld job, I did some welding and brazing in the Navy and need to invest in a small welder for stuff like that
