no lift of level 275's LE

My 2012 LE with no lift or level came to me with 275's on the 20's. NO rub or any trimming etc. Rides good but I removed Xres and lifted 2.75" in front and 1" in rear with 17" trail rims.

Anyone running 275/65/20’s on the stock rims?

Putting the daystar kit on and wondering if they would fit without any rubbing issues.

Or is 275/55/20 the largest we can go?

I too have stock limited wheels running 275/55 R20 all terrain tires with no lift & no rubbing. The only "issue" is my fuel mileage dropped 0.2 MPG when I went from HT to the AT tires, but it's been well worth it not getting stuck in the mountains. I had BFG KO2s, but now have Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs.

BFG KO2s:

Now that you had the Duratracs for a year, which tires do you think are better for daily driving? I am considering both of your previous tires.

I feel like the KO2 wore down faster, but my memory could be tricking me or it could be my driving style has changed. If I had to pick out tires tomorrow, I would look up both the Duratracs and KO2s and see which was in stock, and what the cost of each was and that would be the deciding factor. They are both great choices in my opinion and limited experience.

If you read reviews (on the distributor sites) for KO2’s, you’ll get people with midsize SUV’s saying they last 30,000 miles and people towing with heavy duty trucks getting 60,000 miles.

Such a mixed bag can only come down to two things: alignment or rubber manufacturing consistency.

Some alignment issues don’t present themselves as an obvious pull. Slight toe in or rear camber drivers will just keep rotating if they rotate at all. Early death.

If you add up the people, to whom:
- The idea of an alignment never even comes to mind
- The idea of an alignment sounds like a scam
- Cannot conceptualize how an alignment may benefit them or why might they ever need one
- Driving a car that… drives at all… is good enough

That’s a lot of the population and dare I say added together, quite possibly might be a majority.
