Last hurrah

I did just roll into the homestead about 30 minutes ago. I can finally start catching this thing up once I get caught up with the wife and kids/grand baby.

Glad you made it all the way around and shared your trip through stories and pictures.

Truly epic for those of us that lived it through you!

What a Ride

Glad you are home safe and sound. Thanks for taking us with you! This is an epic thread about a trip that many of us only wish we could do. Now get some rest!

When I took this one I knew I was only about 30 minutes from the house. More tomorrow. The sad picture below that is the main reason I was able to make this trip. That is a yard full of inactive oil drilling rigs just south of Tyler Texas. I have no idea how many yards like this are dotted around North Dakota, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, and other states. Enjoy the current gas prices, but don't expect it to last.

Congrats on the awesome trip! I can only dream of taking a trip that long some day. Though maybe not for the same reason :)

Well gas prices are already skyrocketing her in Ca. So... you probably won't have to wait too much longer for work :)

4 weeks almost to the day, 26 states, and 8083 miles later I can now claim I have set foot in all 50 states, and Puerto Rico, and Guam at some point in my life. Now I need to come up with a good excuse to visit American Samoa to cover all of our territories.

You don't need a good excuse, if it's all that is left, git r done!

I'd like to meet you somewhere in Louisiana. I live near Baton Rouge and drive a 2010 Trail to my vacation home in SW Colorado once or twice each year. I normally hit the trails in the Silverton/Ouray area, but we spent a week camping in Utah last summer and plan to go back. I've seen your posts, but I have trouble with this website. If you get this e-mail me @ [email protected].

I have seen your posts, but I have trouble with this website. If you get this send me an [email protected]. I live near Baton Rouge and have a vacation home in SW Colorado. Camped for a week in Utah last summer, spent February in Colorado, and plan to go back to Utah/Colorado for a month this summer. My wife drives a 2010 Trail and we love to hike and go off-roading in the mountains.
