So...just installed A/T3s on my LE (285/6).

Perfect, no issue...for one day. Today, serious shimmy!!

Showed-up at the shop who put em on and grabbed a tech to come look. There they were...ALL of the weights had come loose and slid around the rim and/or flew off. Apparently they were trying some new and improved weights. Obviously they were not "improved"!!

Now I'll need to schedule a re-do on the alignment too...at least a full check-out.

Hate hassling with this kind of stuff. Grrrrrrrr.

Why would you need a new alignment? Wheels weights have nothing to do with the steering/suspension.

Was just waiting for someone to say that.

Balance has nothing to do with alignment, right-o. But it is a brand new suspension setup so they offered to re-check. I suppose if the kid who decided it was a good idea to put adhesive weights directly over an area freshly cleaned with acetone and not expect the adhesive to dissolve had anything to do with the alignment id'd want it checked anyway.

Runs straight and true though. So probably nothing to do there.
