Leakage around brakes....? :(

I had the seal go out, replaced it, and proceeded to see the left bearing leak out. I had it replaced, parts were about $125, and labor was $75 cash.

Seals are pretty damn easy ... the worst part of the job is cleaning up the mess from them. If you need new bearings, I'll be in town through the week and I'm up in Rialto. I'm never free, but I can press the bearings on and off for a couple bucks.

Just have to make a new tool to do it since I loaned my original one to "Hugo2Go" and haven't seen in it in over 3 months. :ybrick:

haha stick figure thats a bummer you lost your tool, ya rialto isnt to far, i dont know if i will have this week to get to it, hopefully it is just the seal though, is it best to get OEM or pick some up from auto zone

OEM for all. Use no other.

You can try just the inner seal first. I'll take the odds to Vegas though that the bearing will fail sometime soon after your repair the inner seal, especially if it has been leaking for some time.

Ya freak I mine as we do it all at once, wheel bearing and axle seals defia tly aren't my specialty, will be good learning, luckly I still have another car to drive while I put this one down for a few days

Re- Teaches me a lesson lol ... like I said though if you happen to get it apart this weekend/or upcoming week I'll be around with the press etc. Unfortunately next weekend I start moving my stuff up north.
